In July 2022, we signed an agreement with the Stk’emlupsemc te Secwepemc Nation to nurture a stronger relationship with Bothar, to complete work on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project (TMEP). The agreement recognizes the community’s traditional and cultural rights, and provides employment and training opportunities in addition to ongoing support to the economic stability of the community. Representatives from Bothar, the TMEP and the SSN worked collaboratively to develop the agreement.
