Bothar completes milestone achievement

Our Teams have recently completed Direct Pipe Installation number 11 and 12 for our client CNOOC International. These two challenging “S” curved Railroad crossings with each an approximate length of 700m were completed with success.

Bothar thrives on challenging crossings and this Project is a clear showcase to that!

Awarded the role as a General Contractor for a great client like CNOOC is an honor and executing the results while continuously managing our high standards to Safety, Quality, Environment and Schedule is paramount to our continued success as a Company.

Bothar is equally proud to announce achievement of completing approximately 2.6km of NPS 48 Direct Pipe Installations in the last 6 months for CNOOC International, TC Energy, the Municipality of Wood Buffalo and Sureway.

These four crossings ranging between 500m to 750m in length, all with various challenges such as compound curves with a 60m differences in elevation, “S” curves, Limestone and gravels.  Three of the four crossings Bothar accepting the role as Prime Contractor for the pipeline crossing work with its key partners Steel River Group, Adit Engineering and Herrenknecht.

While our Direct Pipe Crews are attending additional training in preparation for the 2020 Direct Pipe Season, our Micro tunneling Teams are in the field working on a DN1800 Sanitary Trunk Project for the City of Calgary.

We are proud to provide opportunities to Experts from all over the world to be a part of the Bothar family and work on our Utility Projects all over Canada
